This collection is a group of pieces inspired by the alluring natural forms of succulent plants. Each piece is cast from bronze and individually treated to create not only a visual but a tactile experience.

Inspired by the desert-dwelling plants, I melded abstracted succulent forms with an ancient alloy. Each design was originally cut from sheet metal, fabricated, and then cast in bronze.

These pieces invoke the raw, primitive quality of hand wrought artifacts of an earlier time. The combination of textured bronze and polished gold chain lends a weathered quality that still maintains a rich, luxurious feel.
