• Jewelry is delicate and sterling silver naturally tarnishes when exposed to air. Storing your dry pieces in airtight containers will slow this process. Take care of your items by handling them gently and polishing them with a silver polishing cloth.
• 14k Goldfill is 14 karat gold electroplated on a brass core. This creates an affordable alternative to solid 14k gold jewelry. However, due to its brass core, 14k gold fill will eventually tarnish. Store your gold fill pieces in airtight containers to slow this process.
• For gold plated, vermeil, and oxide pieces:
  Do not use chemicals to clean them. To clean, wash with warm water and use a soft cloth to gently pat dry.
• For sterling silver pieces with a brushed finish:
  Using a stainless steel wool will eliminate tarnish and retain the finish. Rinse with water and let dry completely before putting it away. Do not use this method of cleaning for anything else-- doing so will remove the outer layer of the piece, whether it be gold or black finish.
• For stainless steel pieces:
  Rinse with water if necessary. Pat dry to eliminate water spots.
• For bronze pieces:
  Bronze will develop a patina over time but it is a very slow and gradual process. The patina will add to its charm; however, if this is not desired, place the piece in an airtight container.
• For all jewelry, be sure that they are completely dry before storing to prevent damage while in storage.
